Today was the first day of snow in Philly, it was earlier than last year and it was kind of a moderate storm. We had about 2 inches of snow outside and I feel like this year will have plenty more snowstorm, unlike last year. It was also colder too this year compared to last years temperature,the snow started this afternoon. It started out with flurries and it got heavier by 2:00, got weaker at around 3:00 and got kind of heavier and stronger again at around 5:00. I am very excited about this, I love snow it gives me a very happy feeling though parents don't like it because it wastes their time and sometimes they get stuck on the road or traffic jam on highways. Me and my friend had a snowball fight when we got out of school. We usually get out at 3:09 but today i had an afterschool program so we left at 4:30.
In the afterschool program we were working on building a city of the future, and by using a computer software called Sim City 3000 we can construct a model of the city before building the real future city out of recyclable materials. We have to give in ideas, work on the model, do research on nanotechnology and nanosensors. Also we have to write an essay on how we built the city and how we created a model of the city on Sim City 3000. I am also very excited because I have been trying to look for the software of Sim City 3000 so I can work on the model at home but yesterday my teacher said that the competition that we entered has offered to sell the game for only $8.00 plus shipping.
Still I am very happy that it snowed today though it wasn't much of a heavy storm and schools weren't going to be closed I still had alot of fun and thrilling day!!!!!!!!!!!. Hopes another storm would be even more fun with more snows.
